Antigone and her Sentence

Why does the sentry bring Antigone to Creon despite knowing she will be executed? Is the death penalty a fitting punishment for Antigone's crime? Explain. How does she defend herself?

The sentry brings Antigone to Creon because he does not want to be the one punished for burring Polynecias.
I do not believe the death penalty is a fitting punishment for Antigone's crime because she was just giving her brother what he deserved, that is that everyone should be buried no matter their status.
Antigone defends her by not denying her actions and taking the blame for what she has done.

Is Antigone a Strong girl?

I think Antigone's character is strong and courageous. She is not afraid to stand up for what she believes, which is the proper burial of her brother Polyneices. Antigone goes against her uncle, King Creon, because she feels that it is not fair to leave her brother unburied. Antigone strongly shows that like her other brother, Polyneices should be buried too.
